Our Italian Seasoning - This universal seasoning is perfect for any Italian dish. Sprinkle it on pizza! This blend wakes up the flavors of salads and vegetables and makes a great soup base. Makes great salad dressing and dips! This seasoning contains the perfect mix of certified organic oregano, basil, garlic, onion and other certified organic herbs & spices, along with organically grown sweet peppers.

Try it on vegetables, especially oven roasted or outdoor grilled vegetables. This seasoning makes a great soup base. Use it instead of high sodium broths or bullion.

We usually use oil and vinegar to dress our salads. We keep the Italian seasoning in a shaker jar and sprinkle it on our salads with the oil & vinegar. Absolutely delicious!



We are a small seasoning blend company - very small, just Smiling Jim and me, his wife. We use certified organic spices and locally grown, organically grown peppers to create our naturally low sodium seasoning blends. Our seasonings have no artificial ingredients, no chemicals, no fillers, no GMO ingredients and no MSG.

We didn't intend to create low sodium seasonings. When spices are used correctly, little salt is needed. We realized our seasonings were naturally low in sodium, and fit the FDA low sodium requirements per serving.

Jim worked his way up, working in kitchens to become an Executive Chef with Hilton Hotels. He has the unique ability to layer and blend spices with the end result of enhancing every food you create. Our seasonings enhance the flavor of foods; they do not cover flavor. No other seasonings are needed when Smiling Jim’s seasonings are used, except for salt & pepper to taste, maybe.

No meat, fish or dairy products are used in our seasonings. Only our peppers and certified organic herbs & spices.
