Seller's description

Our rich and creamy, 4 lb Mangalitsa leaf lard tub is perfect for any activity around the home, from baking to soap making to cooking.

This is pure, rendered, USDA-inspected Mangalitsa leaf lard with NO preservatives added. We raise our Mangalitsa outside, and Mangalitsa is world famous for its rich, creamy lard. This is rendered porkfat with no preservatives or anything else included, just pure pork fat! The Mangalitsa pig is known as the Kobe beef of pork, and its lard is equally delicious.

Leaf lard is considered to be the highest quality lard on an animal. It's made from the fat around the kidneys and other key organs and is known for its high smoke point and neutral flavor.

Our leaf lard is great for making pies and baking, for candles, for frying, sauteeing, and roasting. Our leaf lard is processed in a USDA-inspected facility, and is certified for consumption!

Lard has historically been used to make amazing pies. Lard made pies are known for their crusts. Lard was also was the primary oil around the home for cooking, sauteeing, or grilling. Our lard has already been rendered and scoops from our tubs like ice cream.

It is keto and paleo-friendly, and an amazing alternative to synthetic seed oils or other oils full of bad fats. Some people even use it as a lotion. FREE SHIPPING!

I love this! What a difference it made to my already pretty good homemade flour tortillas. My adult kids could taste the difference and they felt softer as well.
