Highlights
Imagine a tongue drum that allows you to change key or scale and even its sound at the touch of a button. It even has a built-in looper.
It can output:
- MIDI over USB
- MIDI over TRS (a TRS/5-pin DIN lead (type A/Korg) gives MIDI over 5-pin DIN)
- Optionally audio out, with 8 built-in sounds (basic audio) or 40 plus kit drums (Fluidsynth option)
- For a comparison of the two audio options, see https://youtu.be/1kfDWI6x1FU
*if buying the MIDI-only version of this instrument, a knowledge of MIDI, connecting and using MIDI controllers is essential*
It now includes:
- a tripod mount, as shown in the photos
- a built-in looper
- both variants (MIDI-only and audio) are now shipping with gold-plated pads
You can easily switch:
- The scale or mode, eg Lydian through Locrian, minor and major pentatonic and more
- The key and octave, eg C5 or D4
- The MIDI channel
- Send a program change message to change instrument
It has touch-sensitive pads with MIDI velocity sensitivity for expressive playing, or you can fix the velocity at any value. The MIDI output means that you can use it in a variety of scenarios - with electronic or software instruments or DAW, even your phone.
Sadly Etsy don't allow for a longer video, or sound on the video. Demos (with sound) are available on the Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/WPvE3QhaJoM
A manual is at https://peacockmedia.software/drum/manualV3.pdf and has more details.

Reviews for this item
What buyers say, summarized by AI: Great quality Love it Easy to use Looks great Fast shipping Helpful seller As described
This is very nice! It’s not only a great stand-alone unit, but it is really fun to use as a MIDI controller for other hardware, including my iPad. I received this in right around a week in the United States, so shipping was very fast. I really like the thought that went into this item, and it is already bringing many smiles to my face!
This is an excellent instrument that sounds wonderful and is a delight to play. And it is as beautiful as the photos. It is the same excellent quality as with all other products from this seller.
Thanks item is as described and works as shown in videos 🙂
The digital hand pan is very well made, with quality materials, and arrived from the UK to the US in record time. I just need to find one of my old MIDI cords to try it out.
