The custom oval shape is perfect. It shipped from Morocco, not New York, and took 10 days to arrive. Signature was required. I ordered on 12/29/25 and got it today 2/21/26. The seller was responsive in messages. The rug has a white backing that can show through if the pile isn’t laying right. I couldn’t find anything I liked anywhere so I had to order custom here. It’s soft and unique. We love our beautiful rug.

Stunning — we absolutely love how this piece turned out! This was our very first custom oval rug, handcrafted by native Berber artisans in the High Atlas Mountains and shipped directly from the artisan’s village to the customer’s home so it could arrive as quickly as possible. A rug like this usually takes 5–6 weeks to complete, was made earlier than that, our artisans worked with extra care to finish it even sooner. So proud of this beautiful collaboration.

Lovely to work with, and the rug is incredibly soft and well-made. While lighting conditions meant that it ended up not being the right color for my room, I would happily order from this shop again. We had some shipping issues, but the sellers were responsive, and eager to sort it out.
