Every axe is of high quality. Cutting into materials like metal or stone is not advised. Damascus steel and carbon steel are not stainless steel, thus do not use them for throwing or leaping. It will rust if it isn't dried after dishwashing. To preserve it, you must use some oil. Apply linseed oil or oil for maintenance weapons on the blade. Exposure to extremely high or low temperatures is not advised. Never use water-containing items on the blade, handle, or sheath leather. Occasionally, the leather can be treated using a beeswax-based natural balm for leather goods. Both diamond and carborundum sanders can be used to sharpen knives.

Ways to prevent iron from rust

1. Apply a thin layer of mild oil (such olive oil or WD-40) on the blade. A Damascus Steel Blade can be given a deep sheen that complements its exquisite, organic pattern by oiling it. 2. Avoid storing in the leather sheath for more than a month at a time. Because leather is so absorbent, it may cause blade stains. 3. If kept in a leather container. It is advised that you prepare the blade, place plastic wrap around it, and then put the knife inside the sheath. 4. Please do not put any of the Damascus blades in the dishwasher.
