I nabbed these 4mm Moonstone beads for my Bead Snob buddies who love the flash and sparkle of really high quality rainbow moonstone (AKA White Labradorite) and want a gemmy look without the price. The lovelies have some teensy little black inclusions and a lovely, whispy feathering that clouds them a bit, but they have zones of translucence so they visually read like a much higher grade than they'd technically be if you got down into the nitty gritty of grading.

Bead Snob® Notes:

Cord Sizing: Plan to use a Size 2, mayyyybe a 3, but the holes on these seem pretty tiny, so you may even need to ream some beads to work with a Size 2.

Wire Gauge: A 26 gauge will be your best bet.

Beading Wire: A "Fine" Soft Flex or Soft Touch.

Gem Geek™ Notes:
Rainbow Moonstone is what almost everyone calls this material, but if you get into the weeds of classification, this is more correctly called "White Labradorite". However, most people will look at you funny if you call it "White Labradorite" because almost all of us know this material as "Rainbow Moonstone".
