Chenille patches are decorative appliqués that are often applied to clothing, bags, hats and other textiles.
They are made of a soft, fluffy material and give your handmade garment a unique appearance.
They are often applied/embroidered onto felt or other sturdy fabrics (similar to a punch needle) and glued on the back. However, there are also chenille patches that are not iron-on, but rather sewn on.
This cute patch is our own creation. It's glued on the back and can therefore be ironed or sewn on!
Dimensions (W x H): 14.3 cm x 10 cm
Ironing instructions:

Pre-iron the fabric before applying the patch to ensure optimal adhesion.
Gently press the patch into place; the heat will help it adhere. If necessary, you can use a standard water-soluble glue stick (e.g., the Prym Water Fixing Stick).
Press the patch firmly onto the back of the fabric without steam. Avoid ironing and instead hold the patch firmly to ensure a secure bond. I still recommend placing a piece of parchment paper over the garment during this process.

Allow to cool: After ironing, allow the garment to cool before moving it. This ensures the patch adhesive fully sets.

Check: After cooling, check that the chenille patch is securely attached. Repeat the process if necessary.
Do not wash the garment until after 48 hours to ensure permanent attachment.

Care instructions:

Chenille patches are washable at 30 degrees.
Avoid ironing directly over the patch.
Do not tumble dry the clothes.
Always wash inside out to protect the patch integrity.
