Specifications

This Bastet wall art draws the Egyptian cat goddess full length against flat black, gown falling to the floor, a lotus staff in one hand and a border of fine scrollwork closing her in.

In "Drawn in One Line", the entire figure is built from hairline gold, no shading and no colour anywhere, so the ears, the beaded collar and the long pleated gown are all described by contour alone. Her head is turned in profile with one pale eye showing. The staff rises beside her topped with a lotus. Her train trails out behind and breaks into pattern along the hem, and the scrollwork frames the whole thing like the edge of a lacquer panel. Bastet keeps houses, cats and women safe, and this version of her manages it standing perfectly still.

It belongs in a hallway, a bedroom or a black and gold living room, and it will find its people among cat owners, Kemetic practitioners and anyone collecting Art Deco line work and Egyptian revival design.

Printed on high-quality archival fine art paper and available in matte or satin finish. The matte finish gives a softer, more muted look with reduced glare, while the satin finish adds gentle sheen and slightly richer colors, allowing details and highlights to stand out more clearly.

For Giclee prints up to A4 size we ship them flat unless they are ordered alongside a larger print. For larger sizes we carefully roll and package them in a protective tube for safe delivery. Please note that frames are not included.

Every print is created, checked and packaged by me in my Liverpool studio. Each order is prepared with close attention to detail so your artwork arrives safely and beautifully presented. All parcels are shipped using tracked services for reliable delivery from England to your home.

I create and develop my artwork using digital painting and compositing techniques with a graphics tablet and professional design software. My creative process also incorporates digital tools such as custom brushes and AI-assisted tools, with each piece manually refined and finished by me to achieve the final artwork.

Please be aware that the colors, brightness, contrast, saturation and vibrancy of the artwork may vary across different screens and devices. The printed image may look different from what you see on your screen due to these variations. Although my prints accurately reflect the original artwork, I have no control over the display settings of individual devices which can influence how the artwork appears.

Please note that I create my original artwork in different proportions, so small adjustments are sometimes needed when fitting them to different print sizes. All key elements of the artwork always remain fully visible and true to the original design.
