Why don't you offer refunds on digital products?

Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds. There is no way to recall the digital files once automatically fulfilled by the platform after payment is processed. However, if a design has a critical stitch out error that fundamentally makes it unusable, we offer a 50% refund WITH proof of poor stitch out. Simply asking for a refund without providing evidence of a poor stitch out will not entitle you to a refund. Please message us for more information!

Will you size up/size down [X] digital pattern for me?

For some designs, yes we are able to size up or size down designs at no extra cost. However, often adjusting the size incurs labour cost in the digitizing process, so there may be a fee or a new design purchase required before we will re-size a pattern. Please always message us for more information!

My package is lost/delayed/missing! Can you help me?

Unfortunately once items are shipped, they are in the hands of the postal system. It is the buyers responsibility to follow-up with their local postal service for more information. Even with tracked shipping, once the item is shipped by the seller, the package becomes the property of the BUYER. Please be sure to always shipped things to secure addresses and purchase tracked shipping if you are especially concerned about your package. Tracked Shipping = includes tracking number, required for all medium to large size packages and typically delivers consistently Standard Letter Mail = does NOT include a tracking number, equivalent to snail mail and has a wide delivery window based on your local postal service delivery schedule

I notice you have different designs on Etsy than other platforms, why is that?

Etsy is an incredibly limiting of a platform for creators. In the past 5 years (since going public), Etsy continues to raise fees, limit sellers and restrict products. You will find ALL of my designs on www.mochimakes.com as well as BONUS patterns on my Patreon. The best way to support creators is to shop directly from them!

Do you take custom orders for patterns and physical products?

Yes! please message me for more information on custom orders.

Are all your patches "Iron-On"?

Yes! all of our patches are done in the iron-on style. To apply the iron-on patch, iron from the BACK of the garment you want to attach it to, so that way the heat goes directly from the iron, through the garment, and straight to the adhesive on the patch. A piece of parchment paper between the iron and the garment also helps create a smooth finish. We recommend hand washing garments with iron-on patches added to them.

Do you offer "Gift Messages"?

Please note that I do NOT offer "gift messages". Even if completed via Etsy's ever changing features for users, I have tried to disable the feature because I do NOT offer this service!

How do I request tracked shipping on an item where tracked shipping is not a drop-down option?

Please message us with your complete address for an estimate on what upgrading to tracked shipping on your order. Etsy tends to over-estimate tracked shipping costs so we try to provide a more accurate quote by using your specific address. All packages are shipped via Canada Post. Please note that we still do NOT refund or replace lost, delayed or damaged packages, even if they are tracked! We recommend tracked shipping for international shoppers and for those purchasing more than 50$ in their order.

Why is my order not arrived?

Please note that the default shipping on ALL of my physical items is UNTRACKED SHIPPING. This means that once your order ships, there is NO TRACKING INFORMATION for either buyer or seller! If you open an Etsy dispute case after choosing to NOT upgrade your shipping to tracked shipping you will be blocked and reported for violating my shop policies. My shop announcements, shipping notifications, and shop policies are very clear that I do not refund lost or delayed orders. Please read ALL shop policies carefully!

Due to the nature of product, no refunds will be offered. Partial (50%) refund can be reviewed only if design has critical errors in sew out process (error that resulted from digitizing). Description of error and image of damaged final product should be provided to consider refund. Please show explicit stitch out photos and request a partial refund. Simply requesting a refund or reporting stitch out issues without a photo will not qualify for you for a partial refund.
