This project sits firmly at an Intermediate level, but it's perfect for anyone looking to stretch their skills because it combines two completely different styles of crochet:

The front panels are made using a 'Join-As-You-Go' method. Instead of sewing a bunch of squares together at the very end, these lacy, floral diamond motifs are connected together on the final rounds.

It creates a stunning, lightweight lace front with classic points at the bottom.

The Back is completely different. Typical of vintage patterns there isn't an image of the back, but the instructions spell out a solid, uniform V-stitch pattern with a straight bottom hem. Designed this way to act as a stable frame that keeps the lacy front panels from stretching out of shape when worn.

The pattern is digital for download, not paper and uses UK/AU terms. The instructions are written and no other language translation is available.

The download pattern has comprehensive well-written instructions with plenty of help and reference guides. There are also diagram layout/joining charts.
