Up for sale is one pack of approximately 20 Globe Amaranth flower seeds (Gomphrena Globosa). Also knows as Gomphrena, Globe Amaranth are for zones 3-10 and create very unusual round flower heads in shades of purple, white, salmon, and pink.
PLEASE NOTE: All orders are shipped via USPS and can take up to 10 business days after shipping to arrive.

Start in pots about 4 weeks before your last frost in the spring, or direct sown in late spring once your daytime low temperatures have warmed up to the low 70's. Prior to sowing soak your seeds overnight. These require light to germinate so if sowing into pots press into your soil surface and lightly cover with fine vermiculite or sand, but do not cover with potting material. In the garden sow on the surface and give them a very light dusting with screened peat.
