How to Prevent Rust & Care for Your Knife

Hand wash with mild soap and dry the blade completely after each use. Never place the knife in a dishwasher. High heat and harsh detergents can damage the blade and handle. For storage, apply a very thin layer of food-safe mineral oil to a clean, dry blade. Avoid leaving the knife wet or soaking in water. Store in a dry location away from moisture. Do not store in a leather sheath for long periods, as leather can retain moisture and cause staining or corrosion. Proper cleaning, drying, and storage will help preserve the blade's finish and natural character for years to come.

Eligible items must be returned unused, in their original condition, and with original packaging. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. How to Sharpen a Damascus Steel Knife

Use a quality whetstone or diamond sharpening stone to maintain the edge. Sharpen with light, even pressure while keeping a consistent angle along the blade. Avoid aggressive grinding or sharpening against hard surfaces, which can damage the edge. After sharpening, clean and dry the blade thoroughly and apply a thin layer of food-safe mineral oil for storage.

What is included with my order?

Each knife includes a leather sheath. Chef knife sets include a leather roll designed to help protect and organize the knives during storage and transport. Please check the individual listing for the exact accessories included with your purchase.

Is the knife ready to use?

Yes. Your knife is ready for use. Before the first use, wash the blade gently with mild soap and water, then dry it completely. We apply a thin layer of food-safe protective oil to help protect the blade from moisture during transit. Please remove the protective oil before preparing food.
