"Love Sick," An 8 page mini zine about being “lovesick,” missing your romantic partner, girlfriend, boyfriend, long distance lover, etc.

This is a sapphic wlw zine about two lesbians— one is lovesick and missing the other until she finally arrives.

I made this comic zine as I reflected on being separated from my girlfriend during times we’ve fallen ill. COVID19 and the ongoing global pandemic has really shifted all our lives and, for me, has made me more cautious about protecting loved ones when I am ill. This zine is about the various times I’ve been separated from my girlfriend when either she or I have been sick.

This zine is a play on the idea of being "lovesick" (the desperate feeling of missing a loved one, wanting to be with them, etc) and also on being sick as in physically ill and quarantining or social distancing in order to mitigate the spread of an illness or sickness as a demonstration of love.

This zine is for the lovers, the COVID-cautious, the immunocompromised, chronically ill, the romance lovers, and/or the ones who feel desperation and longing when they are separated from their partners.

Perfect gift for Valentines Day or a sweet get well soon card or feel better message to anyone special in your life. This book can also be a nice present for a romantic partner who you have been missing or separated from for a while. Gifts lesbians, sapphics, bisexual, queer people, or anyone at all who has been separated from their partner. The graphics feature illustrations of me and my girlfriend but I think it's relatable for any couple, straight, queer, lgbtq+, etc.!
