3. Different from Gold-Plated: 14KGF is different from gold-plated metal. Gold-filled metal involves a mechanical process that uses heat and pressure to bond a layer of gold to a brass base metal. In contrast, gold plating is a thin layer of gold applied through electroplating, which may tarnish quickly.

4. Value: 14KGF jewelry inherently has value due to 5% of its weight being 14K gold, while the amount of gold in gold-plated jewelry is often insignificant, thus holding little value.

5. Quality and Durability: Gold-plated jewelry often represents lower quality as it can wear and tarnish easily, sometimes even reacting with the wearer’s skin.
