It is both side painted item. At the back of the glass there is pearl acrylic paint. The model is specially made to hide the clock mechanism though having and transparent section. It will stands as a unique piece of decor art in your home, studio, etc.

Beautiful clock that serves as a piece of art on our wall - delivered on time and packaged well to survive the shipping. Only thing to note is to be sure to read the instructions, which are clear and easy to follow, before jumping into assembling the clock hands. Not hard to do, but important to follow the instructions as you assemble the clock hands. Beautiful piece!
