My beef jerky comes from the leanest and most tender cuts. Once sliced, I marinate for up to 24 hours.
This recipe is for a sweet yet "hot spicy berry." The sweet comes from red raspberries and the heat comes from a variety of sources depending on the heat level you chose. Mild uses only crushed red pepper. Medium is 90k Cayenne + Crushed Red Pepper. Hot uses 160k Cayenne and Crushed Red Pepper. Stupid Hot uses Habanero or Ghost Pepper. Please see the "materials" below for all ingredients in the marinade.

My jerky will last (if you can) at least 90 days. In warmer climates refrigeration is recommended to ensure freshness if you are not going to eat right away. The jerky will be arrive in a "seal-a-meal" package.
Jerky is perfect for any outdoor activity (hikes, biking, skiing, kayaking), long drives or just anytime snacking. You can even share our jerky with your favorite pooch. My dogs love it!
