Bernat Handicrafter Has a Very Nice Shiny Thread in Size 5 - Also, Omega,Aunt Lydia, and Universal Garden have a Size 5 Crochet Thread - Check Annie's Attic Online Store For These Threads. I have not tested any of these crochet threads yet with this pattern yet.)

***While the Edwardian Era gave us some beautiful patterns, they often had less detailed instructions and no stitch gauge than the later vintage patterns.
