Craft Story:
This handspun Khadi cotton is woven on village handlooms rooted in India's centuries-old khadi tradition, especially from weaving communities in regions such as West Bengal and Gujarat. Skilled spinners use the charkha to produce slightly slubby, breathable yarns, and dyers work with natural indigo to develop the unique greenish undertone through careful fermentation and oxidation. Each length bears the tactile irregularities and slow-made character of artisan craft.
