This is a print from one of Arie Reinhardt Taylor's paintings. Arie Reinhardt Taylor is a 2nd generation artist and her art is well know throughout western North Carolina. She has painted over 1,000 paintings in oils and watercolor. Arie Reinhardt Taylor was born in 1921 in Catawba County in North Carolina. Arie bases her work on scenes from her life in rural Catawba County in the 1920's and '30's. Her paintings provide a sense of nostalgia for any viewer regardless of whether or not they are familiar with the scene.

This is one of my favorite prints because of the subject matter. I love the old log house. The family enjoys visiting with one another and listening to the banjo. It is so realistic, just like the other prints. Great shop, fabulous painter!
