Glaze Info: Glazes are lead free and cadmium free and fired to achieve a full melt of an appropriate ratio of components to create food safe, durable surfaces.
Clay Info: Clays used are midrange white stonewares fired to a complete cone 6 to reach a commercially standard vitrification
About the Potter: Ben B is the Asheville NC based potter here at Light Square. He began throwing in southwest Colorado, continued playing with clay at a community studio in Philadelphia, PA, and after arriving in Asheville several years ago, pottery production became his dedicated practice.
