Vintage wooden hat block for milliners made around the 40s. This form is intended for the manufacture of elegant women's hats and is made from a natural solid piece of linden tree. The block was used and shows signs of use. There are traces of needles. It has cracks. But a strong block. At the bottom of the hole for mounting.
The height at the highest point is 11 cm (4 1/3") Diameter inside is 52 cm (20 inches)
Diameter outside: 67 cm ( 27 inches)
Weight: 1200 g.
It is in good vintage condition and has strong wood. There are cracks and scuffs, as well as traces of needles. Please look at the photo to evaluate the condition for yourself.
