I'm so happy I found this pattern. It was just what I was looking for, in terms of the back ruching. I altered the front and made two shoulder straps, which was a little difficult because I am a bit of a beginner. I do agree with others that the direction and video could be a little clearer when it comes to attaching the lining to the main dress, especially at the top. I had difficulty stretching the 6.5" of elastic to the length directed in the pattern. So I sewed down that line on my machine using a basting stitch. Then I ruched it a little to make the fabric shorter . Then I went back and attached the elastic. I used two layers of ITY fabric, which was quite heavy and I added a second piece of elastic, as advised. The ruching came out beautifully with this method.
