No we don't. The art stone castings are heavy and often expensive to post - therefore expensive to buy. Casting is fun and easy - it’s economical to source casting powder locally and enjoy making them yourself from our molds. What do I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

Your parcel will be handed over to your local postal service for final delivery. You can continue to track it using the same tracking number on your national postal service’s website. They’ll provide the most up-to-date information. If the parcel has still not arrived after the expected delivery date please contact me. Please understand that if your parcel has been caught in delays due to customs of your country or postal strike action in your country there's nothing we can do except be patient. What powder do I use to make Art Stones and where do I get it?

What you use to make the Art stones depends where you live and what you have available. You will need to purchase the casting powder separately to make your stones/rocks – Many casting plasters work well. I like using Ultracal 30 (highest strength gypsum powder - it is harder, heavier and better for painting than plaster of paris) - available online or in casting/modelling supply shops in most parts of the world. Unfortunately, in some places it can be hard to get or expensive. In USA / Canada alternatives include Perfect Cast, Rapid Set Motar mix from Home Depot, Dental Stone powder. How can I download my Digital download purchase?

Etsy does NOT allow downloads from its app, therefore you have to access downloads in the Etsy WEBSITE via your browser e.g. Safari, Chrome, Explorer or whatever you use ( log into your account > purchases).

What paint do you recommend?

We recommend good quality fluid acrylic paint that is the consistency of egg yolk. The Decoart Americana range is ideal.

This is a silicone mold to make a tea light holder. Recently revised - the logo is no longer on the inside on the mold. The mold is softer therefore easier to release the casting.

It has been specially designed with an inbuilt space for the tea light candle which suits a wide range of candle types. Casting your own tea light holders is economical and allows for endless creativity to paint!

This mold has a matte interior - therefore resin casting will not come out shiny unless you re-coat it.

Casting your own tea light holder is easy!
If using Ultracal 30 the mixing quantities for one tea light holder mold are -
Water 100g / 3.5oz to Powder 262g / 9.3oz
The Process -
You will need to purchase the casting powder separately. (Sorry I don't sell it) Many casting plasters work well and I like using Ultracal 30 (highest strength gypsum - it is harder, heavier and better for painting than plaster of paris) - available online in most parts of the world. Sorry I don't sell it.
If you are in Australia or NZ - an alternative is Casting Plaster from Bunnings. Please see the pinned post on my FB page for alternatives in different parts of the world.
Mix the casting powder with water following the directions provided with the mixture.
Pour into the molds.
Wait approximately 6 hours or overnight.
This is the fun bit! - Turn out of the mold. It comes out beautifully smooth!
Allow to dry thoroughly for about a week so no moisture is left in the casting before painting.
So much joy painting it!!
