the card stock is great quality! just took longer than expected to arrive, and the notes open like a book which i wasn't expecting

The long transit time was due to the USPS. I called and they explained they are short staffed. Unfortunately, free standard shipping doesn't guarantee a deliver by date. I suggest if you are in a hurry for your order, or have a need by date, that you upgrade the shipping. It's totally worth it! To address the booklet style opening that you were not expecting, it was clearly in the description as "fold is on the left side". Reading the description will definitely help you not to be disappointed.
