A handwoven waist sash inspired by the sash worn by Captain Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
100% cotton; off-white and deep scarlet fibers make up the iconic striped pattern seen in the films, with a natural weighty volume which hangs and flows like the genuine article. The fabric has the lovely softness and beautiful texture to it, much like that of vintage fabrics.
Designed in house, and specially woven in New England, exclusively for The Savvy Sash: these are a must-have for any buccaneer looking to set out in pursuit of buried chests, keys, and drawings of keys.
15 feet long, and available in two widths: 10.5 inches and 12.5 inches, with the 10.5” sash accommodating four stripes and the 12.5” accommodating five.
The unweathered sashes come prewashed, and subtly hemmed along each side lengthwise, to prevent excessive fraying.
The weathered sashes have also been washed and hemmed, as well as heavily faded to bring out the beautiful pink tones in the fabric. The sashes are hand distressed, dyed and stained to look and feel as though they’ve lived a long vibrant life on the high seas.
Hand-wash only and hang dry.
