 Kefir grains / bulgaros are the symbiotic union of several microorganisms, specifically of bacteria and yeasts. It feeds on whole milk and produces lactic acid, acetic acid. The Kefir/ bulgaros are prepared when milk is added and as a result the famous kefir is generated. A drink similar to yogurt which is lactose-free.

Will the kefir grains survive?    
I can tell you that this is everyone's #1 question. But rest assured that the kefir grains will be healthy and ready for the batch.  They are able to survive in extreme heat and cold in our top of the line food grade containers. Also our shipment will only leave our hands when we can assure it will be in constant transit.
     
Example:
             If you order has cleared payment Monday to Thursday 12pm PST we can ship  within 24 hours If your order has cleared payment Thursday to Sunday 11:59pm your order will ship first thing next Monday morning.
