If the item in question is a necklace or bracelet on nylon cord, I will happily re-string it to a shorter length or add an appropriate extender to elongate one free of charge. If you would like an extender shipped after a sale, please contact me, as I will not charge for the addition but will for the shipping. Items that are knotted can occasionally not be extended, but can be re-created as a shorter or longer necklace if the appropriate material is available. Please contact me before purchase. If the description of "fits like" is confusing -- I have a 7" wrist. When I string something that is 8" and it fits like 7" due to the size of the beads, I will have it in the product listing as a 7" bracelet.

Most costume, silver, pearl, or other jewelry when treated like jewelry will last a long time. This means regularly cleaning it, occasionally re-stringing it, never pulling on it to test its strength unless you're prepared for consequences, and NEVER putting it in harsh chemical cleaning solutions (silver cleaner dip, for example). Most of my creations are best cleaned with a little mild soap and a clean toothbrush, or, if that doesn't remove the dirt, a little windex is also worth a shot. Always rinse when done. If anything I have made requires restringing or repair, please send me a message. This is a service I provide at a small and reasonable fee, because I'd rather see my creations fixed than lost for good.

What's with the flowers and plants?

I'm an avid gardener, and when possibly like to use my live flowers as props in my photos. You could say my main motivation to become a jeweler is to stay at home and work in the garden more, whether on jewelry or plants. If you would like to know the name of any of the plants pictured so you can grow them, too, I'm happy to talk about it. Plants that have been used include: Foliage: lemon and lime leaves, strawberry, common sage, lavender, rosemary, heather, oregano, siberian kale, euphorbia, grasses, blueberry leaves (fall), nandina / heavenly bamboo, pine, holly & false holly. Blooms: dahlias, zinnias, black-eyed susans, pink heather, pansies, lavender, coneflower, succulents, gallaridia, rose, camellia, butterfly bush.
