This fabulous Hotel opened in 1927. I love the pink stucco and old world charm of this historic hotel located at Waikiki Beach.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of my originals of this fabulous historic hotel!

DETAILS: This is a gallery wrap painting. Signed K C Jones and measures 18 x 24 inches. The 1.5 inch sides are painted hot pink. This painting does not require a frame! It should be hung as is, and the back is prewired for that purpose! This painting is varnished to protect the paint and enhance the colors.

ABOUT THE ARTIST 

Kristi Cavett Jones was raised by artistic parents, both having art degrees. Her father has placed (numerous times) in the top tenth percentile in state and federal duck stamp art contests, and her mother sold work at a local gallery. Kristi studied art at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts (NOAFA), and is also self-taught.

Kristi has sold work at local shows and galleries, and has exhibited in shows in New Orleans and in northwest Caddo Parish, including Centenary College's Meadows Museum of Art, Norsworthy Gallery, and Artspace in downtown Shreveport and the prestigious Louisiana State Exhibit Museum. She is a represented artist at the Bailey Gallery in Shreveport. Her artwork is available at Antique Shoppes at 1100 Barksdale in Bossier City and Disco On Decatur and New Orleans.

In 2011, she was awarded a visual arts grant from the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC). In 2015, she was commissioned to create 29 paintings for the new University Medical Center in New Orleans. Her artwork was selected for the 20th and 25th anniversary posters for the Sunflower Trail & Festival in Gilliam, Louisiana. She is a member of Louisiana Artists, Inc. and the Hoover Watercolor Society. She has a permanent collection in the new University Medical Center of New Orleans. Her artwork is collected nationally and internationally.
