Why do cats love our beds, you ask?
The felted wool texture is key. Cats love the natural woollen feel, and when they are inside, they love to claw it, too!
The funniest bit about all of this is that cats know the difference!
Polyester felt and natural wool may look similar, but they feel very different to the touch. Cats can have their own preferences, and many are drawn to the distinctive feel of natural wool. They might look like ours, but the cats know!!
There is another important difference: sturdiness.
Cheaper variations of felted cat caves can be thin and wobbly. With us, you can buy with confidence, as our caves will always weigh more than 1kg, giving them a dense, compact and sturdy structure.

Tucked between the largest mountain ranges in the world and deeply rooted in local traditions, Everest Pet Caves are handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal.
At Everest, we are committed to quality at every stage, while being as environmentally friendly as possible. You can rest assured about the quality of wool we use, the sturdiness of our caves and our use of chemical-free, all-natural dyes.
Making our caves is an uphill task. Only 3–4 cat caves can be made in a day by a single person, so every cave requires considerable time, skill and patience.
We make sure our women artisans—the skilled members of our workshop—receive their fair share for the work they put into every cave. We are looking to build a community-based brand here at Everest, supporting the people behind every handmade product.

Very cute, well made and my cat loves it.
Very cute cat house, beautifully made
Probably the best things I have ever bought my cats.... As soon as I unpacked these, the boy specifically chose his and jumped into it.. So i took the red and white mushroom one upstairs to the girl, who also jumped in hers - this red and white mushroom house - as soon as she had a good sniff around. The cats LOVE these! I was jealous that I am too big to jump into one myself, I think they are TERRIFIC and such excellent quality! They arrived quickly and in excellent condition and were so good, i ordered a THIRD - so my boy cat now has TWO and the girl has one. I will buy more for every cat that joins the family... please don't stop making them. See you soon 😊
