Highlights
The Hey Violet quilt kit features the new Violet Crush batik collection from Wilmington Batiks. The large throw/twin quilt is designed with a side drop of almost 13". It can easily be made a littler larger, if needed, by adding borders. The 9-patch blocks (all 9" square) are set with multicolored sashing that emphasizes the diagonal color placement of the dusty "denim" blues and the very pale to very deep purples, making this a delightful quilt. Imagine how awesome a room with two twins would be with a second quilt made with the opposite diagonal setting. Modern construction techniques and sashing makes this design accessible to most quilters with a little experience.
NOTE: THIS IS THE KIT VERSION OF THIS QUILT AND NOT THE BLOCK OF THE MONTH!
The kit contains a color copy of the Hey Violet quilt pattern/instructions by Wilmington Batiks along with enough fabric to complete the large throw/twin size quilt top as shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for the top of the quilt and edge binding. BACKING AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY!
The overall finished size of this quilt is 64.5" x 85.5".
There are no substituted fabrics! Picture 2 shows the actual fabrics included in this kit, and pictures 3 thru 9 show images of the blocks you will make for this quilt project.

About 14 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. NOTE: FABRICS IN THIS KIT ARE PACKAGED IN THE SAME ORDER AS LISTED ON THE PATTERN SO YOU CAN ORGANIZE AND MARK THEM USING YOUR FAVORITE METHOD!
