Handmade ceramic green gradient mountain mug

5 out of 5 stars

Item highlights

  • Materials: Ceramic
  • Dimensions: Capacity: 12 Fluid ounces

Seller's description

These mugs are handmade with light brown speckled clay on the pottery wheel, and then adorned with a slab-built handle. Each slope is carefully painted by hand on the mug, continuing the design onto the handle. The colors are specially hand mixed to get a one-of-a-kind gradient effect. After being fired in the kiln, the speckles in the clay pop through and create a unique effect. The curved lines and bottom of the mugs are left unglazed to further celebrate the beauty of the speckled clay.

The nature-inspired design makes the perfect gift for hikers, campers, skiers, snowboarders, and nature lovers of all types.

These mugs hold about 12 oz of liquid. They are perfect for your morning coffee, an afternoon tea, or any hot or cold beverages.

The glazes used to create these colors - moss green, white, and black - have a satin matte finish. All the glazes used are food safe and lead free.

This mug is dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand washing is always recommended for handmade pottery.

Approximate Dimensions:
-3.5” Tall
-3.25" Wide (4.5" wide at handle)
-Holds about 12 ounces of liquid

My husband bought me the blue mountains for my April birthday and I loved the design. It felt too wintry for my preferred mug refresh, so I bought the green waves as a cute coffee bar set that matches our house style perfectly. But I'm really here to say this: one of the mugs was in our countertop dish strainer when our foster dog broke out of his room and had himself a time, including pulling everything off the counter. This mug sustained a tiny chip on the handle, and that was it! Sure, maybe part of it was luck, but it's also that these are really well made. So cute
