Pattern had basic instructions with photos so it was easy enough to follow. I kind of just did my own thing once I glanced at the pictures once through. I’m not sure what I was expecting for a doll dress pattern but for $5 I didn’t expect to have to perform a dress fitting myself. The pattern pieces are just 3 different sized rectangles. I probably could’ve watched a free video online and made it with simple measurements. But overall it was a decent pattern that made it so that I didn’t have to think very hard before making cuts.

I really enjoyed making this pattern! It was easy to follow and came together quickly with a great fit. A couple small clarity suggestions: noting the 1/4” seam allowance in the supplies/instructions and specifying right sides together when attaching the straps would be helpful. Neither issue slowed me down much, but would help beginners. Overall, a well-designed pattern—I’m very happy with the result and look forward to making another version. The star print is perfect for Memorial Day!
