This is a handmade tote bag, made from my own pattern, using a hand stitched antique quilt piece, antique linens, and hand dyed fabric.

The front is accented with a piece from a hand embroidered piece from an antique linen, a hand dyed lace piece, and a couple vintage fabric squares. The inside is lined with a vintage cotton fabric. The handle is made from a floral cotton, tied at the top with a strip from a hand embroidered cotton piece.

I love that I was able to repurpose this gorgeous quilt into something useful, as it was very worn and no longer served its intended purpose. Please expect some worn/threadbare spots and a bit of discoloration due to the age.

This bag is well made and stitched for longevity, with care taken to details. It measures 12" high, about 8" wide, and has a depth of 4". It isn't super structured, other than the lining, because I like my tote bags a little floppy. Handle is a little wider than a typical tote, measuring just under 2 3/4" across. Handle drop is about 13 1/2" from shoulder.
