I've made 3 of these tops already. I found it's best to use a thin yarn with some stretch to get the effect that's shown on the model. I do wish there were up-close photos of the sides, because I found it difficult to understand the loops and how to put the straps through. I understood you make 3 loops on the sides, but I only used 2 to put the straps through. Nevertheless, it's a cute top and super easy to crochet up.

Love the pattern, it is a simple pattern but very helpful, well written, and the instructions are detailed and emphasize how yarn stretching can change the shirt. The pattern can easily be adjusted plenty as needed. I added additional loops so I had more cross crossing on the back to hold the shirt closed a little more. A great shirt for beginners to try for understanding body measurements and how things lay on the body. This helped me learn a lot!
