Highlights
Shown is a very beautiful Italian fine china lamp base with a shiny glaze that has a buttery-soft feel. It has 2 putti or cherubs and is meticulously embellished with applied roses, leaves, and various other flowers. Because this lamp is older, it is in used condition and has a few minor chips or breaks. Surprisingly, though, almost all the flowers are undamaged, so it must have been well-taken care of. One of the cherubs has a small brown dot on its cheek underneath the glaze. The underside is marked "Italy". This lamp base can be used for its intended purpose, but it looks really beautiful with a spray of flowers poked through the hole at the top. This Italian china cherub lamp base measures 12" tall x 6 1/2" wide. The base measures 6" x 4 1/2".
