Why are your shipping costs so expensive?

For those of you who think my shipping costs are too expensive? Yes, they are, and the reason why is because we dont want to incomidate anyone like other "retailers" who will ask for more shipping money. Is everything in the shop sold by the yard?

Absolutely everything in the shop is sold by the yard. I don't sell half yards. Although I never ship out an exact yard. I will always send a little extra @ no charge of course.

Why does shipping cost start at $9.90?

I always ship flat rate to ensure packages don't get lost and arrive on time. At times, I'm able to fit up to 4 yards of the same fabric. Please note not all fabrics will fit, in a flat rate envelope. Some are thicker than others, so I'll only be able to fit one maybe 2 yards.
