Highlights

😊 1 FULL ZINNIA PACK - 30 SEEDS😊

Germinating zinnia seeds is easy and quick! 🌱 Here’s a simple step-by-step guide you can follow:

1. Timing
Best time: After the last frost if sowing outdoors.

Indoors: Start seeds 4–6 weeks before your last expected frost.

2. Materials Needed
Seed starting tray or small pots

Seed starting mix (light, well-draining, not heavy garden soil)

Spray bottle or gentle watering can

Plastic cover or plastic wrap (optional)

3. Steps to Germinate Zinnia Seeds
a. Prepare the soil

Fill your container with moist (but not soaking) seed starting mix.

Lightly press the surface to level it.

b. Sow the seeds

Place zinnia seeds on top of the soil.

Lightly cover them with a very thin layer of soil (about 1/8 inch or just a dusting).
→ Zinnia seeds need some light to germinate, so don’t bury them deep!

c. Water gently

Mist the soil surface or lightly water to moisten everything without disturbing the seeds.

d. Provide warmth

Keep the soil temperature around 70–75°F (21–24°C).
(You can use a seedling heat mat if your room is cooler.)

e. Light

Place the tray somewhere bright (like a sunny windowsill) or under grow lights.

If you cover with plastic wrap, remove it once seedlings appear to prevent mold.

4. Germination Time
Usually 3–7 days.
(They're fast germinators compared to many other flowers!)

5. After Sprouting
Once the seedlings have 2 sets of true leaves, thin them out (leave the strongest ones).

If started indoors, harden them off (gradually expose to outdoor conditions) before planting them outside.

Quick Tips:
Keep soil moist, but never soggy.

Don’t bury seeds deep — this is a common mistake.

Zinnias love sun! Choose a spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight once you transplant them outdoors.
