Roycycled Decoupage Paper is an easy way to add special touches to your craft projects. The 18lb decoupage tissue weight makes it both durable, and thin enough to virtually disappear. The 21″ x 29″ sheets make easy work of large scaled creations such as furniture decoupage projects. If you’ve used decoupage napkins before, you will love this product. This versatile product works with any decoupage medium or decoupage glue. You can use it to decoupage wood, glass, marble, the options are nearly endless.

How To:
1. Prepare the Surface
• Clean and Prime: Clean your project piece and remove any dust or debris.
• Paint a Base: Apply a coat of white or light-colored paint (such as chalk-style paint) or a stain-blocking primer. A light background helps the colors and details of the thin decoupage tissue paper pop.
2. Measure and Trim the Paper
• Hold the Roycycled Decoupage Paper sheet up to your project to plan your focal point.
• Trim the paper to size, leaving about a half-inch to a one-inch excess (overage) around the edges of your design.
3. Apply the Adhesive and Paper
• Work in Small Sections: Apply a quality water-based decoupage medium, polyacrylic, or varnish (such as Pentart Decoupage Varnish Matte) to a small section of the surface. Avoid heavy puddles.
• Lay Down the Paper: Place the paper onto the wet medium, starting from one side (like your non-dominant side) and working your way across. (Tip: Some creators lightly mist the paper with water beforehand to relax the fibers and prevent wrinkling.)
• Smooth Out Bubbles: Rub gently from the center outward using your fingers or a piece of plastic wrap (Saran wrap) to eliminate air bubbles and wrinkles without tearing the delicate tissue paper.
