They are made completely out of cardboard which makes them biodegradable and can be pushed up from the bottom (like a push pop!) when you need access to more deodorant. On the other hand, the glass jars (which are recyclable or reusable) have a slightly modified formula to make the deodorant a bit less hard and comes with a wooden spoon to scoop with and apply to armpits*

Well, I for one was growing tired of lathering aluminum all up in my armpits so I created this deodorant that is *free* from harmful chemicals to avoid putting my health at risk! And I've put it out into the world for you to try out too!
Please note that when switching to an all-natural deodorant, you may experience some detoxing resulting in a bit more body odor than you wish. But if you hang in there and let your body do it's thang to purge out all those toxins, you should be back to smelling delicious within a week! This stuff DOES work but you may have to let your body get acquainted first!

Beeswax- Forms a thin, non-allergenic barrier over the skin without clogging the pores. It helps to moisturize, soften, and heal skin tissue while protecting it from harmful environmental factors. Beeswax is also know to have antimicrobial, antioxidant, and hydrophobic properties (meaning it repels water!).
Coconut oil helps to improve skin hydration, reduce dryness, and protect the skin from UV radiation. Keeping your skin hydrated is imperative to help preserve it’s barrier function to keep out bacteria, promote scar healing, and maintain overall skin integrity. The lauric acid content in coconut oil has antimicrobial properties that can aid in protecting against harmful microorganisms and the growth of bacteria that causes many types of skin infections such as acne, cellulitis, folliculitis, and athlete’s foot. Coconut oil may also help relieve inflammation by improving antioxidant status, which works by stabilizing free radicals in the body and neutralizing the reactive atoms that contribute to inflammation. Studies have shown coconut oil to increase levels of collagen, an important protein that aids in wound healing while at the same time, preventing infection that could complicate the healing process. Coconut oil is essential to keep your skin healthy, moisturized, and blemish free!
Baking Soda- As a natural deodorizer, baking soda helps to absorb excess moisture and kill odor causing bacteria.
Arrowroot Powder- An all natural thickening agent to keep your deodorant in one piece! Also has moisture absorbing and anti-inflammatory properties.
Lavender Oil- Lavender is well known for aiding a vast number of issues from anxiety to headaches, to allergies, and even skin conditions such as bruises, burns, bites/stings, acne, cuts, and stretch marks. It has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antidepressant, and sedative properties. It may help relieve pain and inflammation of the skin while promoting cell renewal and minimizing scarring. It can aid with insomnia, anxiety, nervous tension, mental clarity, and mood swings. Lavender is thought to bring balance to the body, promoting consciousness, health, love, and an overall sense of well-being.
Tea Tree Essential Oil- With antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties, this powerhouse of an oil is wonderful for cleansing, tissue regeneration, and to help heal cuts, wounds, and other inflammation. It has strong immune building properties and has been used for centuries for ailments of the skin such as burns, bacterial infections, rashes, staph, wounds, dermatitis, eczema, and more.
