Genuine character pieces: Old fruit crates, second choice (B-grade)

Are you looking for crates with a story, where perfection would be boring? Do you need wood for the garden or an upcycling project and don't want to pay full price for top-quality goods?

Then these crates are just right for you. We're rescuing these crates from the shredder because: they're definitely not firewood! They're perfectly usable, but clearly show signs of their long life.

Honest condition description (please read): We are explicitly selling these boxes as B-stock / second choice. This means they are not cleaned and ready for use in a living room and have defects. These include:

Appearance: They may be more heavily soiled (dirt/dust/cobwebs), have dark spots or show signs of weathering (including mold growth).

Wood: Slats may be broken, missing, or cracked.

Woodworm: Since the crates often stood in barns for decades, they may show visible woodworm holes or signs of feeding. This emphasizes their rustic "barn find" character.

Stability: Despite the flaws, the basic structure is stable enough for shelves (possibly with a few more nails) or planting.

Why these crates are great: They're perfect for a "dirty vintage look" or for outdoor use. With some sandpaper, paint, or a brush, you can create fantastic projects for very little money.

As a planter in the garden or on the balcony.

As a shoe rack in the garage or shed.

For building insect hotels or composters.

As a basis for creative crafts.

Important information regarding dimensions and handcraftsmanship: Please note that these are handcrafted natural products. Due to the production process, the dimensions (approx. 50 x 40 x 30 cm) may vary by up to 1 cm. The color and brightness of the wood may also vary, as each box is unique. Please take this into account when planning your purchase.

Scope of delivery: You will receive the selected number of boxes in second-hand condition (B-stock).

I did receive two damaged crates. A shame, otherwise it's great.

I bought it 10 days ago and the package still hasn't arrived. If I had known, I would have chosen a different company. I hope it arrives someday.
