The shield that I have in the picture is the Marvel Legends Series Falcon and Winter Soldier shield.
also works great on various Viking shields. the shield in the picture is a 25 inch circle. Also the mount has been used by various customers with heavier metal shields to great success.
The top portion can be lifted to allow for easy removal of the shield.

Easy to install and looks great!
Item was just as described. Just be aware that if the front of the shield is a little wider sticking out this won't hold in in place without the top part being weighed down a little bit. Not an issue with the product itself though, overall would recommend
The item was just as described. The top piece was a bit hard to place as allowing full movement wouldn’t keep the shield in place on the wall. Once we determined how much it needed to move in order to both keep the shield in place and take it out, it works just fine. It would be nice if the pieces had some kind of padding on them to prevent scratching/damage to the shield as well.
