Really sturdy. Holds the weight of my 9lb chihuahua well. The inside of the sweatshirt is kind of a scratchy material—only the hood is lined. It’s incredibly warm so it wii would probably be too much to line it with more fuzzy material but maybe satin or something would be nice for those of us with sensory sensitivities. The hood is very big!
