A new & fun crochet pattern for the spooky season! Not all Halloween decor needs to be scary, and that’s why the happy pumpkins blanket was created. The afghan is made up of granny squares that have a embroidered face pumpkin motif sewn on. In this PDF instant digital download, a step by step guide of how to create the smiley face pumpkins, as well as instructions for how to back the afghan with fleece (which I do for all my crochet blankets, just like my grandma did) is included.

The pattern is written in English, using US crochet terms. This listing is for the pattern only, and no other items or materials will be included. Strong beginner to intermediate level crochet, but detailed photos are provided to help beginner level.

This pattern was a fun take on my favorite holiday! I have been crocheting for over 3 years, and love creating new projects as well as following patterns from other Etsy shops.
