Please contact me in order to return your purchase within 14 days of delivery. Buyer pays for return shipping and refund will not include regular shipping costs as we do not get refunded for that. All sales are final for items in the Clearance Sale section and returns will not be accepted for those.

Do you sell "ready to wear" hats?

We sell millinery supplies for people who make hats. Hat bases in the shop are not ready to wear, but we do sell materials for you to make them wearable separately. If you are looking for a finished hat, there are many fine milliners on Etsy who would be happy to help you find the perfect ready to wear hat for you.

Do you ship to international destinations?

We are based in the United States, and are currently shipping to the following international destinations: the United Kingdom, France, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. We also have shipping to Japan, Singapore, and Chile for certain items. If you would like to know if there are shipping options for another country, please convo me for further information.

Please treat your millinery flowers and hat making supplies with care. Never assume that dyes and materials are waterproof. It is possible to carefully steam many materials into shape, but do not over-saturate them to prevent damage / spotting. If you are unfamiliar with safe steaming procedures, contact me for instructions.

Shipping Carrier Delays

We ship all orders out with tracking numbers within 3 business days (M-F), however we can't predict if package delivery will be delayed by the shipping agency. Delivery dates provided by Etsy are estimates only and not guaranteed. We can ship your order via Express mail that will provide a guaranteed delivery date but there is an extra cost. Please message me for details.

Color & Size Accuracy

All our listing photos are taken in natural daylight and with the intent of providing accurate color representation. Please note that monitors / phone screens all have slight variations in how color is depicted, so you may notice slight variation. If you are unsure if a color is right for your project, send me a photo of what you need or send me a fabric swatch. I can also provide veiling / crinoline samples for a small mailing fee. The sizes of the items in my shop are specified in the listing descriptions - so please read all listing details and review all listing photos prior to ordering.

Materials: one hat base, not a finished hat

One red sinamay straw hatinator / fascinator base in a "navette" shape - elliptical with pointed ends. There is a concave portion that sits against the head and a headband / elastic / combs / or clips must be installed in order to wear. The sinamay is stiffened and provides excellent support for your embellishments. Edges are trimmed in wired sinamay so you can adjust the shape if you like. Sinamay is a natural material and you will see occasional beige / brown fibers / striations in the weave. This is not a defect, but is the result of how different natural fibers respond to dye and processing. Overall dimensions are 17" from point to point, and 10.5" wide at the widest point.
This is NOT a ready to wear finished hat and will not stay on your head unless you add a head band or elastic to wear. Add embellishments of your choice. A nice high quality base - I know you'll be pleased!
