🌺 Habotai silk fabric is made of 100% mulberry silk. Habutai is one of the most basic plain weaves among fabrics. It is known for its soft, light, iridescent, and silky qualities. Habotai silk is natural and most commonly used for lining or sewing dresses and scarves.
Mulberry silk habutai has softness, lightness, breathability, and transparent color, so that people always feel comfortable and light when wearing clothes made of Habutai.

🌺 ABOUT MULBERRY SILK OF VIETNAM
️⃣ How is mulberry silk made? Mulberry silk is a fabric that is 100% woven from silk. Vietnam has a long tradition of caring for newly hatched silkworms, creating silk cocoons, reeling silk cocoons, weaving, and dyeing. The stages are made by hand and require the meticulousness and ingenuity of artisans to produce beautiful and perfect silks.
🔸 To produce 1kg of raw silk, more than 5000 silkworm cocoons must be harvested.
🔸 To make a good silk cloth weighing about 0.5kg, it takes from 2000 to 3000 cocoons.
🔸 100% natural material, to weave 1m of fabric requires about 500 cocoons. With thicker fabrics, it takes from 2,000 to 2,500 cocoons to produce 1m of silk fabric—more than 3000 cocoons for a traditional costume.
🔸 Growing mulberry - raising silkworms - spinning - weaving silk is hard.
🔸 Raw silk yarn production accounts for only 0.2% of world yarn production
