Which courier do you use?

I always use either Royal Mail or Parcelforce. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your parcel is despatched. Please keep an eye on the tracking - if your item is not delivered it may be at your local Royal Mail collection Office for you to arrange re delivery or collection. You will need to pay postage to return items back to you if they are returned back to me due to failure to collect or non delivery due to not fully completing your address details on your order. All mail is sent Tracked 24 or Tracked 48. If your item is not delivered or is lost, replacement or refund will only be organised once I have received confirmation from the delivery company (usually 3-4 weeks after posting).

I will always make sure that your items are packed well and with care.

Custom and personalised orders

Personalised items - Please check your spelling and that you have typed the correct Name and other details required in the personalisation box. I will make the item exactly as you spell it. I can not be held responsible for any mistakes made due to customer error. Please check your order confirmation as it comes through and message me immediately if there is an error. Returns and refunds are not eligible for personalised items, unless we have made the mistake when making your item.

I have received the wrong item or my item is damaged.

Please message me as soon as possible so that this can be rectified. DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEM TO ME WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST. Items that arrived damaged will be replaced. No refunds will be given on personalised items.

Please refer to the photos and item description in the listing for sizing options. All sizes are approximate and there may be a couple of mm discrepancy with your item. If you do not see the size you require, please message me. Custom sizes are welcome.

Can I have my item sooner than the displayed despatch time?

In most cases - yes. In some cases there is a postage upgrade option already available at checkout. Upgraded orders will be prioritised and sent out sooner than the stated times. If this is not available, please message me to arrange before ordering. Please be aware that Tracked 24 orders can take RM 1-2 working days to deliver.

If you wish to return a non-personalised order, please message me before returning. The buyer is responsible for return postage costs. You must ensure that the item is fully insured as if it is lost or damaged, a refund will not be issued and the buyer is responsible for claiming costs of the postage and the item from the courier.

EU AND NORTHERN IRELAND

WEF 13th December 2024, I will no longer be selling to Northern Ireland. This is due to the GPSR (General Product Safety Regulations) coming into force. This was a difficult decision but as a small business sole trader, I do not have the time and resources to put these regulations into place.

Materials: Slate

This personalised slate sign is available in 4 shapes and we have attached a slate stake to the back to allow you to push it into the ground. They would look perfect at any graveside or in any garden as a special reminder of family, friends or loved ones who have passed. ‘Gone but never forgotten’.

You can choose to have it personalised with a choice of image and your own words. The sign has a laser engraved design and is made from high quality slate. It is perfect to displayed outdoors in all weathers.

I will layout your text and picture in the best way in order to fill the slate and accommodate the text. If you wish your slate to be laid out in a particular way, or would like a specific font, please either add this to the personalisation box or message me after ordering. If you would like to see a mock up before I engrave, please let me know. Please be aware of the size of this item and add the amount of text accordingly. The more text you add, the smaller the writing. Fonts may vary slightly from images and images can be smaller or larger depending on space.

Made from Natural Slate. As a natural product, the corners and edges are rough and not linear and may not be completely square. These are not defects and everything is carefully packaged so that you receive you order exactly as we have sent it. There may be small darker patches on the laser engraving where it has to navigate the unsmooth surface of the slate. It all adds to the rustic charm of the product!

We have attached the stake firmly and it will push easily into any soft ground.

Delivery:
The time it takes to prepare your sign depends on order volume and season. All items are sent Tracked 48 via Royal Mail. TRACKED 24 is available if you upgrade your delivery. Upgraded orders will be prioritised by me and sent sooner than the stated times.

You will receive a notification at the time of despatch - please allow at least 2-3 days for delivery from time of posting (longer during strike action and busier periods).
Your item will be carefully packaged so that it arrives in perfect condition. Please check your orders on delivery and message me so that I can resolve any issues. Customer service is important to me!
