Highlights
This tapestry/sewing table is 14 inches high - perfect height for sitting cross legged or on a short stool. The unfinished pine table comes with four legs and the three screws for attaching each leg. Two 20 inch X 20 inch burlap squares with finished edges (no fraying!) are also included. Simply stretch the burlap onto the frame and begin :-)
Follow my simple instructions for screwing on the legs - all you need is a Philips Head screw driver (hand or power). The wood has been sanded and the screw holes have all been drilled for you to easily direct the screws into them. The table is made from common pine which is easy to paint or stain if you choose - or allow the wood to breathe and age beautifully by itself.
The frame measures 22 inches square. The burlap stretches across all sides of the bottom frame slipping over finishing nails. The top frame fits nicely over the nails squeezing down tightly with four tension latches.
ABOUT ME: I've been a fine art weaver for over forty years. I primarily weave on a frame loom that I designed and built myself. My work is, "Fiber Painting" because each piece I weave is done similarly to how I imagine a painter would paint on a canvas. In addition to weaving in my studio, I teach textile art and woodworking to students of all ages up and down the West Coast of the United States.
