Rustic Wood Log Slice – Wedding Cake Stand, Table Centrepiece & Wood Slices

Natural kiln-dried real Paulownia wood log slices with a smooth surface and a 3.5cm thick rustic bark edge, available in a range of sizes. These wood slices are ideal for wedding cake stands, wedding centrepieces, table styling and decorations, candle and flower displays, events, shop displays and craft projects.

- NATURAL WOOD -
Our log slices are made from natural, kiln-dried Paulownia wood with a smooth finish and are untreated. As they are cut from real trees, every slice is unique and will vary slightly in shape, size and appearance. These natural variations are part of their rustic character and mean no two slices are exactly the same.

- CAKE STANDS -
The larger wood slices are particularly suitable for displaying wedding cakes or creating tiered cake stands. For direct food contact, we recommend placing a cake board, doily, or greaseproof paper between your cake and the wood.

- PERSONALISATION -
The slices are also suitable for DIY and craft projects and can be personalised with vinyl lettering, cricut designs, paint or other decorations. They can also be styled with candles, glass vases, flowers and greenery to create rustic wedding centrepieces and table displays. If using tealights, please always use a suitable glass or metal candle holder to protect the wood.

- SIZING -
With hundreds of these used for wedding cake displays, our wood slices make a beautiful, substantial base for cakes, centrepieces and decorative displays.

Each slice is approx 3.5cm thick. Please check the size required for your cake or display before ordering. As this is a natural product, measurements are approximate.

• XS (10–13cm) – Great for candles, small jars, or name place settings.
• S (20–24cm) – Ideal for centrepieces or small groupings of jars and bottles.
• M (25–30cm) – Perfect for medium centrepieces or multiple vases.
• L (28–32cm) – Lovely base for larger displays or small wedding cakes.
• XL (32–37cm) – Suits tiered cakes or statement centrepieces.

Please expect natural variations including:

• Differences in shape and exact diameter
• Variations in wood grain and colour
• Natural cracks, marks and imperfections
• A small naturally occurring hole near the centre of some slices

- CARE -
To help your slice stay in great condition if you'd like to reuse it:
• Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth — avoid soaking or submerging in water
• Dry thoroughly before storing, to prevent warping
• Store flat in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight
• A light sand can refresh the surface if it dries out over time
