Dune House Atreides Duncan Idaho style Sword kit

This is a 3D printed sword kit, the sword comes in pieces ready for you to glue together, (some filling at the joins in the blade may be necessary) sand, prime and paint. Minimal finishing is needed before painting.
Images also show a finished sword as an example, painted in matt black with silver chrome edges and some light weathering and texturing overall.

The kit is made up of the following:
1 x Hilt
2 x Pommel pieces
1 x Guard
3 x Blade pieces
8 x Dowels

Image 2 can be used as an assembly guide. The 8 dowels are provided to assist locating and gluing the pieces together, however I would recommend using 2 lengths of 6mm wooden dowel running the entire length of the sword for extra strength. For the example shown I used PVA glue to secure the 2 wooden dowels inside each section and contact adhesive where the sections joined.
Length once assembled is 780mm

If you want a shorter blade you can leave out the center blade piece.

Available in Grey or Black.
Now available in Black Carbon Fiber (not recommended for painting).

Item came in broken down and fit into a small box. I purchased some plastic glue and assembled the blade and to the handle. Ended up looking great. Was a great fit for my costume. Definitely would purchase again..
