What type of rugs do you carry?

Our rugs are newly made Beni Mrirt (also called M'rirt) rugs. They are made 100% from the finest wool. Our rugs are made using centuries old techniques, entirely by hand on a standing loom, by amazigh (berber) women in Morocco.

All real wool based rugs shed. However, our rugs being handmade entirely (without using a tufted gun) in the densest knots, it ensures the wool yarns are integrated into the structure of the rug. Paired with the use of the highest quality of wool, it substantially reduces the rate of shedding and eliminates it completely over time.

BASIC CARE: Natural raw wool may contain small fibers during weaving. Over time, these threads/fibers will rise to the surface - they can be lightly sucked out. No need to panic - fiber loss is normal with new wool rugs and will fade over time. STAIN TREATMENT: For long-lasting maintenance, use a vacuum cleaner. If the stain has been caused by a liquid, you must act quickly to prevent drying - use paper towels to absorb and then shampoo to clean. When in doubt, professional dry cleaning will always remain your best choice.
